Explore East Asian Languages: Introductory Chinese and Japanese Courses (Tuition-Free)

The ALLEX Foundation is pleased to offer tuition-free, two-week introductory courses in Chinese and Japanese this summer, hosted on the Cornell University campus. The courses are open to university students, faculty, and community members interested in gaining foundational language skills and cross-cultural insight.

Location: Cornell University

Schedule: Monday - Friday, July 28 - August 8 

Time: 9:00 AM -12:00 PM

Participants will engage in beginner-level instruction in either Chinese or Japanese, led by our world-class faculty and new language instructors from East Asia. The program is part of a teacher training initiative designed to support the development of the early-career instructors, and offers participants the opportunity to contribute to this intercultural exchange in a meaningful way while learning to speak a new language.
